Robot vacuums have become considerably more advanced in recent years, but the Eufy Omni S1 Pro takes a slightly different approach to many of its competitors. Rather than simply combining vacuuming with traditional rotating mop pads, the S1 Pro uses a continuously cleaned roller mop designed to wash hard floors as it moves through your home.
It also comes with Eufy's 10-in-1 UniClean Station, which handles much of the everyday maintenance automatically.
In this Eufy S1 Pro review, we'll look at what it does well, where its limitations lie and who we think it makes most sense for.
Eufy Omni S1 Pro: Key Features
The S1 Pro combines robot vacuuming and floor washing with a highly automated docking station.
Key features include:
- 8,000 Pa suction power
- Always Clean Mop roller system
- 170 RPM mop rotation
- 1 kg downward mopping pressure
- Dual water reservoir system
- Automatic mop lifting when carpet is detected
- 3D MatrixEye obstacle avoidance
- LiDAR navigation and intelligent mapping
- 10-in-1 UniClean Station
- Automatic dust emptying
- Automatic mop washing and heated-air drying
- Automatic clean-water refilling
- Eco-Clean Ozone system
- Eufy Clean app control
The specification is impressive, but the mopping system is what really separates the S1 Pro from many conventional robot vacuum and mop combinations.
How Good Is the Eufy S1 Pro at Mopping?
This is arguably the biggest reason to consider the S1 Pro.
Instead of dragging a damp pad across the floor, Eufy's Always Clean Mop uses a 290 mm roller that rotates at 170 RPM while applying approximately 1 kg of downward pressure. Clean water and detergent are supplied to the roller as it works, while dirty water is removed into a separate reservoir.
The important difference is that the robot isn't simply continuing to clean your home with an increasingly dirty mop.
Independent testing has also identified mopping as one of the S1 Pro's strongest areas. Tests have found the roller effective at tackling dried-on stains, while its continuous cleaning system helps prevent dirty water simply being redistributed around the floor.
For homes with a lot of tile, laminate, sealed wood or other hard flooring, this is where the S1 Pro becomes particularly compelling.
What About Vacuuming?
The S1 Pro offers 8,000 Pa of suction, with different suction levels available depending on the cleaning task.
On hard flooring, its vacuuming performance complements the mopping system well and should comfortably handle the everyday dust, crumbs and debris that accumulate around a home.
However, this is also where it's worth being realistic about what you're buying.
Independent testing suggests the S1 Pro is considerably stronger on hard floors than on carpets. In particular, deeply embedded fine debris and pet hair in carpet can present more of a challenge.
So if your home is predominantly carpeted and powerful carpet vacuuming is your number-one priority, the S1 Pro may not be the obvious choice.
For a predominantly hard-floor home, however, its combination of vacuuming and excellent floor washing makes much more sense.
Does the Eufy S1 Pro Mop Carpets?
No — and thankfully it knows not to try.
When the S1 Pro detects carpet, it automatically raises its mop roller by approximately 12 mm, helping keep the wet roller away from the carpet.
This means the robot can move between hard floors and suitable carpets during a cleaning cycle without you having to manually remove the mop.
It's a particularly useful feature for open-plan homes where rugs and hard flooring are mixed throughout the same space.
How Good Is the Obstacle Avoidance?
Very good.
The S1 Pro uses Eufy's 3D MatrixEye system, combining cameras and sensors to identify objects in its path and navigate around them.
That's useful in a real home where floors aren't always completely clear before the robot starts cleaning. Shoes, cables and other everyday objects are less likely to require a rescue mission halfway through a cleaning cycle.
Obstacle avoidance has also performed strongly in independent testing, including tests involving smaller household objects.
That makes the S1 Pro a more convincing option if you actually want to schedule cleaning and leave the robot to get on with it.
What Does the UniClean Station Do?
The 10-in-1 UniClean Station is a major part of the S1 Pro experience.
When the robot returns to its station, the system can take care of tasks including:
- Emptying collected dust
- Washing the mop
- Collecting dirty water
- Refilling the robot with clean water
- Dispensing detergent
- Drying the mop with heated air
- Charging the robot
There's also Eufy's Eco-Clean Ozone system and an LCD touch display built into the station.
You'll still need to periodically empty and refill the relevant tanks and replace consumables, so it isn't completely maintenance-free. But compared with manually emptying a robot vacuum and washing mop pads after every clean, there's considerably less everyday intervention.
Is the Eufy S1 Pro Good for Pets?
This depends largely on your flooring.
For pets bringing muddy paws onto hard floors, the S1 Pro's mopping system is a major advantage. Its obstacle-detection technology is another useful feature in a home with pets.
However, households with large amounts of carpet and significant embedded pet hair should consider the S1 Pro's limitations. Independent testing found its pet-hair pickup on carpet relatively weak compared with its excellent hard-floor and mopping performance.
So we'd view it primarily as an excellent hard-floor cleaning robot that also vacuums, rather than a carpet-focused vacuum cleaner.
Eufy S1 Pro Pros and Cons
What we like
- Excellent roller-mopping system
- Continuously cleans the mop while washing the floor
- Strong hard-floor performance
- Very good obstacle avoidance
- Automatic mop lifting for carpets
- Highly automated UniClean Station
- Accurate mapping and app-based cleaning controls
- Particularly attractive at its current reduced price
Things to consider
- Carpet cleaning isn't its greatest strength
- Not the best choice for deeply embedded pet hair in carpet
- The UniClean Station is relatively large
- Newer Eufy models now offer higher headline suction figures
- You'll still need to maintain water tanks and replace consumables
Who Should Buy the Eufy Omni S1 Pro?
We think the S1 Pro makes the most sense for households with predominantly hard flooring that want both vacuuming and genuinely capable automated mopping.
It's particularly worth considering if:
- You have extensive tile, wood or laminate flooring
- Mopping performance is important to you
- You want a robot capable of cleaning with minimal daily intervention
- Your home has a mixture of hard flooring and rugs
- Good obstacle avoidance is important
- You want a premium robot vacuum system without paying current flagship pricing
If your home is almost entirely carpeted, we'd be more inclined to prioritise a robot with stronger carpet and pet-hair performance.
Is the Eufy S1 Pro Worth It in 2026?
Yes — at the right price.
The S1 Pro may no longer be Eufy's newest model, but its standout technology hasn't suddenly become irrelevant. Its continuously cleaned roller mop remains an excellent solution for hard-floor cleaning, while the UniClean Station, intelligent navigation and obstacle avoidance make it a highly automated cleaning system.
The price is what makes the proposition particularly interesting in 2026.
At €789 from Lally's Electrical, reduced from €1,079, you're getting a robot that was designed as a premium flagship at a considerably lower price.
If mopping and hard-floor cleaning are your priorities, we think the Eufy Omni S1 Pro remains a very compelling robot vacuum and mop in 2026 — and the current reduction makes it considerably easier to recommend.
