LG QNED vs OLED vs OLED evo: What's the Difference?
Although all three televisions offer 4K Ultra HD resolution, the technology behind their displays is different.
QNED: Great for Bright, Colourful Entertainment
LG QNED combines advanced colour technology with LED backlighting.
The QNED72's Mini LED design offers enhanced control over lighting compared with conventional LED backlighting, making it an attractive option for everyday viewing, sport and family entertainment.
OLED: Exceptional Contrast and Perfect Blacks
OLED televisions use self-lit pixels rather than a separate backlight.
Because individual pixels can switch off completely, OLED delivers exceptional black levels and precise contrast.
This is particularly noticeable when watching films in darker rooms.
OLED evo: Premium Picture Processing and Performance
OLED evo builds on the benefits of OLED with enhanced display and processing technology.
The LG C6 is designed for customers who want more advanced picture optimisation, premium entertainment features and high-performance gaming capabilities.
Which LG TV Should You Buy This Black Friday?
Choose the LG QNED72 if: You want a large 4K television with vibrant colours, smart features and excellent value.
Choose the LG B6 OLED if: You prioritise deep blacks, exceptional contrast and smooth gaming performance.
Choose the LG C6 OLED evo if: You want premium OLED technology, advanced processing and additional gaming capabilities.
Ultimately, the best choice depends on your budget, viewing environment and how you use your television.
